About SkySafe
SkySafe was developed at the intersection of skydiving, wearable technology, and data-driven performance. The project set out to answer a critical challenge: How can skydivers better understand and improve each jump through data?
Combining custom-designed electronics, precision sensors, and AI-powered analysis, SkySafe captures real-time flight telemetry and transforms it into meaningful feedback. The result is not just a record of the descent, but an intelligent interpretation of flight.
Columbia University Senior Design Project
SkySafe was developed as part of the Columbia University School of Engineering and Applied Science’s Senior Design Capstone program: an initiative where students conceive, prototype, and present a full-stack engineering solution to a real-world problem.
