About SkySafe
SkySafe was developed at the intersection of skydiving, wearable technology, and data-driven performance. The project set out to answer a critical challenge: How can skydivers better understand and improve each jump through data?
Combining custom-designed electronics, precision sensors, and AI-powered analysis, SkySafe captures real-time flight telemetry and transforms it into meaningful feedback. The result is not just a record of the descent, but an intelligent interpretation of flight.
Columbia University Senior Design Project
SkySafe was developed as a solo project by Anshul Kinley Khazanchi Sinha (EE SEAS ‘25 & skydiving trainee) as part of the Columbia University Undergraduate Engineering Senior Design Capstone program: an initiative where students conceive & prototype a full-stack engineering solution to a real-world problem. This website was launched after the expo and end of the academic year, simply to document the technical specifications of SkySafe as a reference for future students working on their capstone project.
